About Us :: Staff :: Lisa Reinhart Bio Lisa Reinhart Bio  Raised in Anchorage, Lisa K. Reinhart grew up fascinated by both the magnificence of Mother Nature and complexities of persuasive communications. During her high school career, she trained in the Russian language, took home the highest honors in the 1980 statewide Declamation contest; and, had the great fortune to begin her career in commerce during the late ‘70’s historical deregulation of the travel industry. She trained at Western Airlines, worked for TravelCenter, Inc. as it evolved from one local agency to twenty-seven agencies statewide; and, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with Honors from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. During the ‘80’s, Lisa worked in Boston as an administrative assistant to a busy Securities and Exchange Commission attorney, as a telemarketer for non-profit causes; and, as the Development Associate for Anchorage’s own KSKA FM 91.1 Public Radio. With the melting of the Cold War, came the birth of the Performing Arts Center and the opening of her own independent consulting business. Lisa has coordinated fundraising events for local non-profits, acted as liaison in the formation of joint international, state government and local business ventures; and, helped to facilitate communications between the Yukon Pacific Corporation and a consortium of Alaskan environmental organizations over the proposed Trans-Alaska Gas System. Inspired by the birth of her sons, Lisa spent the 90’s as a State Licensed and Nationally Accredited Child Care Service Provider, a Certified Elementary Education Substitute Teacher and an independent marketing consultant. She has now found her new home, for this decade, as the Membership Director of the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce.
