Northern Passage by Frank Flavin |
Chamber member, professional photographer Frank Flavin, recently took a trip on the Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE) vessel M/V Northstar. He was on board during a trip in mid-February from Anchorage to Tacoma during a stretch of unusually nice winter weather.
The idea had been in his mind for some time to show what it takes to deliver the some 70% of all goods brought to Alaska, especially in the winter months. He shared his idea with Chamber Board member Renata Benett of TOTE at a Alaska State Chamber event and she got the ball rolling.
